Development

Since the Clubs formation in 1988, Hollingworth Juniors & Old Boys have prided themselves on offering Football Opportunities for everyone in the local Community.
Whether its Playing, Coaching, Managing, Refereeing, Volunteering, or Administration, everyone is welcome.

Since Acquiring the prestigious Charter Standard Award in 2006, the Club have gone onto become a Charter Standard DEVELOPMENT Club. The award signals the following:

-A Club Development Plan & Vision, highlighting where the Club intend to progress to, and opportunities they wish to offer in the future.

-All Coaches are FA CRB Checked, and adhere tpo both the Club’s & FA’s strict ‘Safeguarding Policies’.

- All sessions and games are run by qualified FA Coaches, who are also trained in First Aid, and ‘Safeguarding’.

The Club continue to go from strength to strength, and now offer Football from Under 6 at our Soccer School, through to Under 16’s and Open Age Men’s Football.
In addition to this the Club have now expanded into offering Football sessions for adults with Learning Disabilities. The Hollingworth Hurricanes train weekly, and now have their own training kit. Further information can be found in the Teams section of the Clubs website.

In addition to Football activities, the Club also offer an annual Summer Tournament, Sportsman’s Evening, Fun Run, Christmas Raffle, and Golf Day.
